The unit tracks you in real time displaying the vehicle as a pointer on the road in traditional James Bond fashion. You turn, it turns. Using the multi-directional rocker control, drag a second pointer from your location to, say the next major junction; GPS-III+ gives you bearing, distance and co-ordinates, again real time as you drag!

As well as providing critical travel information such as speed, time and distance to your destination there is also a handy trip odometer, compass bearing, average and maximum speed readings, multi-function sizeable compass, 3-D effect graphical wayfinder, Trackbackä and so on.....and on......and on !

Featuring similar ergonomics to the amazing GPS-III, together with the electronically rotatable display, this unit offers excellent value for money to those wanting a G.P.S. as at home in the vehicle as it is on Snowdon. - If you want maps though, you will need the GPS-III.

Pan and zoom to review your route, select Trackback when you simply want the GPS to take you home after a hard days walk. It fills in the waypoints for you and takes you back around that lake you passed earlier - not across it as other GPS systems might! - No point testing it's water resistance whilst you're still attached !

What an absolute bargain this instrument is !
