The Cruise control systems are supplied in comprehensive D.I.Y. kits featuring every imaginable part to enable trouble free installation.

Should you not wish to install it yourself then of course any local competent auto-electrician, by virtue of the explicit pictorial instructions can equip your vehicle in half a day. Alternatively we would be pleased to take a booking for installation. See 'FIT-1' for current standard charge. Overnight accommodation can be arranged if required.

• Choosing your Cruisemaster™ type:

Cruisemaster™ is composed of 4 principal components:

1. The throttle actuator. This is available in 2 types: (a) Electric Servo ('ES' range) (b) Vacuum Servo ('VC' range). - Both systems perform the same basic functions.
• The low cost vacuum system, VC-002 is designed for petrol (non-turbo) vehicles with a suitable exposed drive shaft for speed sensing.
• The standard vacuum systems are designed for use with petrol (non-turbo) and diesel or turbo diesel (fitted with standard vacuum pump for power assisted brakes). Petrol, manual transmission vehicles can often utilise the ignition sensing option as a more convenient method of speed sensing.
• The top of the range Electric Servo systems are designed for universal application to most vehicle types, including: Petrol Turbo, Diesel Turbo, Manual or Automatic transmission and 4WD. In addition to drive shaft and Ignition speed sensing this unit can often be used to sense straight from electronic vehicle speedometer sensors and alternators fitted with a 'W' terminal.
2. The Command Modules. Available in either fascia or stalk mounting, enabling the driver to engage / disengage or accelerate / decelerate from the memorised speed to match the flow of traffic.
3. Comprehensive fitting kit, featuring full wiring harness, required fittings and linkage options, Electronic Control Unit (E.C.U.) with self-diagnostics and detailed pictorial instructions.

2. Accelerate to desired cruising speed and press 'SET' button. The E.C.U. will then regulate the throttle up to five times per second in order that the vehicle speed is maintained with the highest accuracy. Not only does this provide the highly regarded Cruisemaster™ 'magic carpet' quality of ride but also significant fuel savings.
3. The driver can accelerate from the set speed, for example to overtake, by using the accelerator as normal. The higher speed may then be selected or alternatively the memorised speed can be resumed. An ACCelerate or DECelerate facility is available via the 'ACC' or 'DEC' buttons on the Command Modules, allowing the driver to fine tune his cruising speed to that of the traffic flow.

• The systems are designed to drop to standby the instant the brake or clutch pedal is depressed.
• C. 25% over / under set speed invokes safety disengagement
• The driver can of course at any time drop the cruise control out by switching it off at the Command Module
• The systems have passed rigorous European Testing and feature hardware and software filtering

Whilst great care has been taken in designing these Approved universal fitting cruise controls, it should of course be noted that due caution should be used both during installation and operation.
